Abstract

equity-linked bonds to hybrid securities shares of a mixed nature. On the one  hand, the investor is considered a debtor to the issuing company. The bond linked to shares is a debt instrument, subject to the provisions of traditional loan bonds in terms of recovery, interest and general guarantee. On the other hand, these securities include contractual features that link their total return to the performance of the basic share price. They combine the possibility of achieving higher returns linked to the performance of the share, and the stability of fixed income investment. Although these bonds provide protection for the entire capital and the possibility of achieving unlimited gains, these bonds also provide flexibility in choosing their preferred shares. However, the return of this type of hybrid bond may fluctuate depending on the performance of the market and the consequent loss of investors and the consequent loss of part of their investments.
