Dynamics E128 Group A
E128- Engineering Mechanics: Dynamics. This course is intended to teach the first-year students at the Department of Civil Engineering, College of Engineering, University of Misan. |
The objective of this course is to develop an understanding on the effects of forces and motions in order to carry out a design in civil engineering. This understanding requires a knowledge not only about physics and mathematics of mechanics, but also to; visualize the geometry configuration, the type of the materials, and types of constraints that govern the behavior of the mechanics of materials and thus the structures. Unlike to what was taught in Statics, this topic studies the effect of motion on the bodies. |

Statics II
E122- Engineering Mechanics: Statics II. This course is intended to teach the first-year students at the Department of Civil Engineering, College of Engineering, University of Misan. |
The objective of this course is to continue with what students learned from Engineering Mechanics-Statics I (E113) and develop an understanding on the friction and how to compute the center of gravity of materials or bodies with different geometry. Last but not least, to develop knowledge about the computation of the second moment of inertia. |
