Course Outline:
1-Introduction and review:
Systems, plant, linear dynamical systems, open loop and closed loop (feedback) systems.
2-Modeling of Control Systems:
Mathematical model of electrical systems, electromechanical systems, block diagrams, signal flow graph, Mason’s rule.
3-Time domain analysis:
Response of 1St order systems, response of 2nd order systems, step response analysis and performance specifications, static and dynamic error coefficient.
4-Stability Analysis:
Stability of dynamical systems, the Routh-Hurwitz stability criterion, root locus analysisCommunication I-M
The course provides students with essential knowledge related to the basics of communication engineering. These include signals and systems concepts, noise in communication systems, modulation concept and other advanced topics.
