Abstract

The crime of human trafficking is considered a serious crime for society, as it mainly targets human existence, in addition to falling the high position man enjoys among creatures as God Almighty has honored them. Since children, due to their age, are characterized by spontaneity and lack of awareness, this makes them an accessible target for the perpetrators of this type of crimes. Also due to the seriousness of this crime on society, family and the individual, we find that criminal legislation, in line with international conventions, has intended to enact criminal texts punishing this crime with deterrent penalties as well as procedural regulation, especially in the field of international cooperation to control and prevent this type of crime, or at least reduce its ill effects
